Authentic Taiwanese cuisine, enjoyable experience here. It's never easy to find a proper Taiwanese restaurant that serves the real Taiwanese flavor.
It's exactly the hometown taste here in Troy and every dish we ordered was yummy. Definitely a go to pl -

So very happy with the service I got. Went in for the bubble tea, stayed for the atmosphere and pickled pork noodle soup! The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. Will be back

Small family owned restaurant. This place has the most consistent food results in the area!
Most people call for takeout or delivery but there is a sitting bar area, 2 four tops and one 2 top tables to dine in.
We always dine in!
The place is clean and I highly recommend anything cutlet related as cutlets are a Taiwanese source of culinary pride.
It's as if the food just magically appears as if brought to fruition by that food generator on Star Trek! You'll see what I mean when you place an order at the counter!
I have mixed feelings about even leaving a review because I want this hidden gem of an eatery all to myself but I also want so much for this place to have the continued success it deserves and for others to enjoy good food that is also very affordable. -

First let me say, the man who took my order today was so very nice and accommodating. I originally went in for just a bubble tea, but after being in the homey and quaint shop for a few minutes, I definitely wanted to sit and have a meal. I got the pickled pork soup with udon noodles, it was so delicious! Pickled veggies and cabbage with small pork chunks and perfectly peppery. When I asked for the rest to go, the same man who took my order topped off my soup when he packed it. I felt very welcomed and appreciated all his hard work. Will be back soon!!!

So hubby and I had dinner in Troy and all of a sudden I decided I wanted some bubble tea, so went to my trusty Yelp to see what my nearby choices were. I ended up at Lucky Corner. Parking was difficult to find and hubby just waited while I ran inside because we couldnt find anything nearby. Now, the restaurant is small and it was busy. Only one party was seated but several people were waiting for take out. A gentleman took my order as soon as I arrived but it did take longer than normal to prepare the bubble tea as he was assembling food orders and making the bubble tea for several people waiting.
Now, onto the tea...holy cow. We had the passion fruit green tea with Boba and I can honestly say this was one of the better bubble teas I've had (except in NYC and Philly Chinatowns) and for the Albany area, it probably doesn't get any better. We were pretty impressed and will be back to explore the food menu. If nothing else, it is our standard Boba tea spot going forward.
